About the State Compliance Fee
In addition to our mobile testing service fee, California requires a separate annual compliance fee of $32.13 per vehicle (2026 rate) paid directly to CARB through the CTC-VIS online portal. This state fee is separate from our service charge and must be paid by the vehicle owner. We'll walk you through the process if you have questions.
Pricing FAQs
Do I get the multi-vehicle rate if my trucks are at different locations?
The discounted rate applies when vehicles are tested at the same location during the same visit. If vehicles are at different sites, each location is treated as a separate service call.
What if my vehicle fails the test?
If a vehicle doesn't pass, we'll explain exactly what the issue is and what repairs are needed. Once repairs are made, we can return to perform a retest. Contact us to discuss retest pricing.
How do I know which test type my vehicle needs?
OBD testing applies to 2013 and newer diesel engines. OVI opacity testing applies to 2012 and older vehicles. Not sure? Give us a call — we'll confirm which test applies to your vehicle at no charge.
Is there a travel fee?
For locations within our standard Southern California service area, the mobile travel fee is included in the pricing above. For locations outside our standard area, contact us for a custom quote.
